    1. The magnetic core material is made of amorphous alloy. Amorphous alloy is an alloy where iron, boron, and other elements are used as raw materials, and through special processes such as rapid cooling, they are cast into thin strips, causing the atoms to arrange in a disordered manner. Due to its soft magnetic properties, the hysteresis loop of amorphous alloy is very narrow, meaning it requires only a small amount of magnetization power. Therefore, transformers made from amorphous alloy materials have very low no-load losses.

    2. The transformer core is made of amorphous alloy strip and generally rolled into a three-phase five-column structure, which is lower than the three-phase three-column transformer. The core section is rectangular, and its lower yoke can be opened to facilitate the installation of the coil.

    3. For low-voltage windings, except for small capacities which use copper wire, cylindrical structures wound with copper foil are generally adopted; high-voltage windings use multi-layer cylindrical structures to balance the ampere-turns and minimize leakage flux. High and low-voltage coils are wound together using a tension device for the conductors, along with processes such as pressing and embedding, which enhance strength and short-circuit resistance.

    4. The equipment body, tank structure and protection device are similar to those of sealed oil-immersed power distribution transformers. They also adopt the structure of no lifting heart, vacuum drying, vacuum oil filtering and oil injection process, and use corrugated oil tank without oil storage tank structure.

    5. The load loss of the transformer is the same as that of the S9 series, but the no-load loss of the SBH15 series is about 70% lower than that of the S9 series

    6. There is no need to change oil under normal operation, which greatly reduces the maintenance cost of transformer and prolongs its service life.

    7. Through the calculation of annual power loss, annual power loss cost and annual electricity saving, the additional investment cost relative to silicon steel core transformer can generally be recovered within a few years.
