Product overview

The XM-type lighting distribution box is a product developed by our company based on the technology of the XG (Z1) series of three-box products. It adheres to the GB72513-997idIEC439-3:1990 standard, incorporating the strengths of many similar domestic products and leveraging our company's extensive design experience. This is an upgraded and modernized product series. The sample box passed the type test at the designated CaC test station on November 20,2003, and received the' cCc 'certification from the' CaC' on November 17,2004.

This series of products are mainly used for lighting, mobile electrical equipment and electric energy metering in various civil buildings, high-rise buildings, enterprises, shops, post and telecommunications schools and other places. As a line overload, short circuit, leakage protection and electric energy conversion and distribution control, overvoltage protection and undervoltage protection functions can be added according to customer needs.

Product features

1. Structure and protection

• The shell is made of metal or high strength plastic, impact resistant, corrosion resistant, some with high protection level of water and dustproof.
• The internal layout is compact, the modular design can flexibly increase or decrease the circuit.

2. Security protection

• It has overload, short circuit and leakage protection functions, and the metal shell is grounded to prevent electric shock.
• The insulating parts are flame retardant and the fire resistance grade of the shell meets the safety standards.

3. Operation and maintenance

• The panel circuit is clearly marked, the switch operation is convenient, and the lock design prevents accidental touch.
• The opening Angle is large, and the components can be disassembled for easy maintenance and replacement.

4. Intelligence and energy saving

• It can monitor the power consumption parameters intelligently and alarm remotely, and access the intelligent system.
• Low power consumption components reduce losses and support time-sharing control for energy saving.

Safety warning

1. Only professional electricians are allowed to install, operate and maintain, non-professional personnel are prohibited from operating.

2. The power must be disconnected before operation, and live work is strictly prohibited.

3. Do not use in humid, inflammable, explosive or corrosive environment.

4. No debris should be placed in the distribution box to maintain good ventilation and heat dissipation.

Installation instructions

1. Installation location

• Dry, ventilated and free from violent vibration, the height above the ground is more than 1.5m (subject to local specifications).

2. Wiring steps

• Disconnect the power supply from the upper level and operate after confirming that there is no power.
• According to the circuit diagram, the incoming line (power line) is connected to the main switch, and the outgoing line (load line) is connected to the branch circuit breaker.
• Ensure that the grounding wire (yellow and green) is securely connected to the grounding bar.

3. Fixed methods

• Use expansion screws to fix the box to the wall or distribution cabinet.

Operation manual

1. Check before power on

• Make sure all circuit breakers are in the OFF state.
• Check that there is no short circuit or leakage in the line.

2. Power on procedure

• Close the main switch in sequence.

3. Power off steps

• Disconnect the branch switch first and then disconnect the main switch.

Maintenance and troubleshooting

1. Regular maintenance

• Check the wiring once a month to see if it is loose and remove dust from the box.
• Test the function of the leakage protector (it should trip automatically when pressing the "TEST" button).

2. Common faults

• Trip: Check whether there is overload, short circuit or leakage, and reset the circuit breaker after troubleshooting.
• Box heating: immediately cut off the power, check the line load or contact failure.

Matters need attention

1. Do not use the line under overload, and do not modify the line privately.

2. It is recommended to disconnect unnecessary circuits during thunderstorms.

3. If any abnormality (such as burnt smell or spark) is found, immediately cut off the power and contact the electrician.
